Hey all, sorry I have not done an update in a few days. Quite a lot of stuff has been happening. So, I did a SOLO performance yesterday at my school's vocal showcase, I sung Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid, it went really well! But on Tuesday, my dad and I set off to London to meet my Mum because we were going to see Paul Simon in concert, we got to the venue and everything, and then got to the door where it said, "Sorry, tonights performance has been cancelled because Paul has a sore throat." they hadn't CONTACTED us or anything! Which was just rude! It was re-scheduled to the next night so I couldn't go because of the vocal showcase. Luckily Mum fixed things and we are getting our money back for the tickets and we're going TONIGHT instead, to Birmingham's LG Arena, where I saw Justin Bieber in March! On another subject, I am quite tall for a 14 year old girl, I'm 5'8 I think. I was looking around on the internet and I decided to type into Google how tall Taylor Swift was, it said roughly about 5'11. She is my role model and she is tall so I now feel much more confident with my height. Being tall isn't too bad, and for all I know I might have stopped growing. Another thing I'm REALLY looking forward to is the Cornbury festival this weekend. I'm going completely vintage for the festival and going all out on florals and gypsy dresses etc... Anyway, I have to get ready for the concert. OMG I JUST WON TICKETS TO SEE GLEE TONIGHT! But I can't go. My stupid Mum and Dad

Glastonbury, Festival Fever, and Lace
Hey everyone, I hope you looked at ASOS.com, if you haven't read that post, go and read it please. So, as you probably know, the infamous Glastonbury festival 2011 is taking place RIGHT NOW! I so wish I was there, maybe some of you are and you are reading this on your 3G? Comment if you are. Anyway, I wish I was there so badly, a couple of girls went from my school. BUT you can book up for 2013! There isn't one in 2012, I don't know why, go to www.glastonburyfestivals.com and you have to register before you can buy tickets! I urge you to register if you live in England! I have never been before but a third of my family go every year! Also, the fashion at the moment is very festival chic, I love festival clothes and I can't wait to wear a summery outfit for Cornbury next weekend. www.newlook.com have cool clothes for festivals and so do www.topshop.com and www.asos.com so go and have a look! Lace is on trend at the moment and its all about lace maxi dresses and lace tops etc... I love lace so it's great for me. My town Charter Fair is today so I better go, and I don't feel all that well either. Fun.

Sadness, Bad Days and Summer Starts!
Hey everyone, so, I may not be doing as many posts as I'd like to at the moment because I've got a few family issues going on, with my grandparents. My Grandad has probably got 2 tumors in his throat and stomach and we're finding out tomorrow how bad it is. And my step-grandmother is terminally ill with cancer and could die at any time. This hasn't been a great week for me and I ask you to respect my privacy at this time. To add onto that, I auditioned for a musical last week, it was, Oh What a Lovely War, and I didn't get in, and my partner who did it with me did. And that really upset me. So all in all, I haven't been having amazing days recently. On a brighter notw, summer has officially started since yesterday, Google told me. Which is pretty cool, though the weather in England isn't acting like summer one bit. Though I prefer it to the snow we had in December. Waterloo Road is on in a minute, its probably my favourite programme. I love it. My parents are being extra nice to me at the moment so probably I will get to stay up late. That will be cool. I'm thinking about getting some Nike Women shoes, you know, like skater shoes, I think they are awesome. Even though I'm saving up for an iPhone 5, when they come out, whenever they come out. I'll probably have enough money by then. I hope so anyway. Sorry there's nothing much interesting on in this post. It's just I have other things on in my mind at the moment.

OneSourceTalent, Bieber Fever and Glee Finale
Hey guys, I don't think anyone is actually reading this blog except me but oh well. It's now officially become my hobby, I love doing it, I feel like I am pleasing people. Anyway, I've just been looking at a few things about acting auditions online because I'm auditioning for a part in Little Shop of Horrors, I might have mentioned this before. So, I came across this website for American's called OneSourceTalent and it has tons of auditions on there and its free to make a profile. Unfortunately, this will do me no good but I really recommend it for American teenagers who want to get noticed. For UK people like me, there IS a website but I can't remember what it's called, you will have to research it, it's something like StarNow. Right, everyone must have heard of Justin Bieber and this virus called Bieber Fever that is spreading. I had it for about 1 year, but now I feel like it's wearing off a bit. Some people still have it but a lot of people have moved on. Justin Bieber is really cool and all but he's just not hot anymore. Especially since he's off the market with Miss Selena Gomez. In GLEE news, the series 2 ended in the UK last week. And it's my favourite show, so I was hoping for a good finale. But I was dissappointed, not only it was like a cheesy movie, but it wasn't very good either. AND it's doing a transfer to Sky next season, meaning me watching it = nada. So unfair!

Cake, Books and Summery Rompers
Hey everyone, so yesterday I must have gained like 100 pounds, okay that's an over reaction but I was at a sleepover and we ate loads of sweets and massive slabs of cake and stuff. The weather wasn't so great though so we were forced to stay indoors but we went out to town and bought some books. I bought a great summer read called "Daddy's Little Secret: Pregnant at 14 and Only One Man Can be the Father" by Tina Davis. It's a true story about a girl who gets sexually abused by her step father for 16 years. It's really sad and quite an adult book so if you are not ready for that type of thing then don't read it! I also bought an amazing VERY summery book recommended by meganheartsmakeup (my favourite beauty guru) on youtube, it's called "The Summer I Turned Pretty" and it's the first book in a series. It's amazing so far, but I haven't read much of it yet. OMG major news update, if you watch Megan's videos, you will know that she has been in a relationship with a guy called Justin for a while now, but unfortunately, because of some idiot girls, they have broken up. Megan asked Justin what he was doing that night and Justin said he was having a boys night in, but instead, he invited a load of girls and those girls went onto his Youtube and revealed loads of stuff. Megan saw and was upset. I'm just going to say, Megan, you have to stay strong, and remember, you still have your friends and subscribers to get you through this tough time. On lighter news, the book, which is amazing, is available in all good bookstores and if you live in England get it from Waterstone's. On fashion, the summery MUST HAVE is deffo rompers, which is live a playsuit but its shorts and a vest in one. Love them and floral ones are a must have. New Look is the best place to get them.

Internet Down, Rebecca Black and Summer Competitions
Hey Everyone, unfortunately, my internet has been down for the last few days, but now it's back up, and to add to that, I was ill off school as well. Not helped at all but people at school saying I was skiving, which I wasn't. I mean, everyones done it once haven't they, but I was ill then. Anyway, so that's the reason why there hasn't been many posts recently. I saw today that the infamous Rebecca Black (if you haven't heard of her, you must live in a hole, no offence) has taken down her 100,000000000000 (that's an over reaction, but it sure was a lot) viewed video, "Friday" off Youtube.com yesterday. This has caused a massive debate. Rebecca Black features in Katy Perry's new video, Last Friday Night, which you need to check out if you haven't seen. A real summery song, I will be singing along to it on the plane to California and people will look at me weirdly. And also, on www.sugarscape.com which I've mentioned before I think, they are running loads of competitions for things and awesome discount codes for cute girly summery shops. And Cornbury is in a couple of weeks time, officially can not wait. My cousin is also coming over just before I go to America which is awesome. She is a Youtube Beauty Guru her username is naomixmakeup and she's also about to start up an eBay makeup shop. So I'll send the details to you guys when that is up and running. www.youtube.com/user/naomixmakeup I love her, we are both the same age you see. I hope some of you have subscribed to be on youtube, TheSwiftSoldier1 and on Twitter InnocentSwift13. If you haven't yet that would be superbly awesomely amazing. And Sam Beeton is amazing.

Night Night my Summery People
Hey again everyone, just another post saying I hope you had a lovely day today and that you have a lovely nights sleep. I'm just going to watch Casualty so hopefully that will be good. If you watched Britains Got Talent yesterday then tell me what you think of the winner, personally, I would have liked little Ronan Parke to win, he looks like Justin Bieber, which in my books is good, some of you guys may not think that of course. The guy who won it, forgotten his name, is okay, but his voice is weird. Well, got to go now, check out my other blog posts today, they are much more interesting!

Tweeting, Chocolate and iPhone 5!
Hey all, I've been at home all day so I'm going to do a lot of blogging today. I've never been so into a blog before. I have a feeling that this is going to go down quite well. Anyway, the last blog I wrote about a guy called Sam Beeton, I just want to announce this is that he has seen the blog and he tweeted back to me saying, "Thanks @InnocentSwift13 for the blog, very cool! vintagesummer2011.blogspot.com and yes I do like Taylor Swift!" and he also tweeted, "I'll try and get a gig nearby, maybe Gloucester Guildhall" because I asked him if he could do a gig in Gloucestershire, and so did this other girl called @KayFinley88 which was cool. So hopefully he'll do one near me very soon!
Here are his tour dates at the moment, see if he's doing one near you!

A Special Post for Sam Beeton
Hey again everyone, I don't usually do two posts in a day, but this is for a special reason. There is a guy called Sam Beeton, who I recently heard about on www.sugarscape.com and he is SUPER awesome! If you like folk, pop type music then check him out! www.sambeeton.com and you can join his mailing list and get a free song called Rain Down On You, which is amazing. And he's got a special club called the Record Club where he sends out a CD every month, and maybe something extra. I'm just about to subscribe to that, its £12.99 for a year, which is a great deal. But if you don't want to do that, just check out his music. It's worth a listen! Thanks for reading!

Twitter, Taylor Swift, TV and School
Hey, hadn't been on Twitter in ages till an hour ago, turns out I have 461 followers, pretty cool. Follow me if you want @InnocentSwift13 , I don't do that annoying spamming or anything. My whole twitter is based around Taylor Swift so if you don't like her I wouldn't bother following me. Though I do other stuff to. Been having a lazy day today because school starts tomorrow, can't wait till the summer holidays and Cornbury. I didn't have any homework so that was cool. I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic yesterday and that has to be one of the best movies ever. I love it! I also want to see this new Disney movie Prom, it looks kinda cool if you like that type of thing. Watching the tennis at the moment, Nadal and Federer are playing in the final. It's kinda boring but my parent's are watching it and I'm on here so it's not that bad. I entered a load of contests on my favourite website, www.sugarscape.com its a magazine I used to read but they stopped the magazine and carried on the website, and its amazing, fashion and everything. Also, www.mybliss.co.uk is also cool, thats a teen mag called Bliss I get, entered a load of competitions on there too. Well I better go now, see ya.

London, Strawberries and Hot Tights
Hey all, so yesterday I went to London with my best friend Sophie, we went to all the suspected places, like Covent Garden and Harrods etc... In fact, we got Krispy Kreme Harrods Donuts and they tasted great, well, I guess they are Krispy Kremes after all! Then we did some sunbathing in the park which was great, apart from the fact I nearly broke my camera! Not good! I fixed it though, the lense had just moved a fraction. Today, when we dropped Sophie back at her house, I went strawberry picking and the strawberries tasted yum. Unfortunately, I had tights (light pink) my broques (brown shoes), and my new flowery dress on because my mum had not told me we were going to go. Not only was a utterly hot, I was also getting snabbed by sharp prickles. The strawberries are nice though. Having them tonight for dinner. After the strawberries I went to Stratford because I needed some new ballet shoes, pumps, and jeans. We ended up getting none of these things but flip flops, a vest, and some white shorts instead, I told mum I needed them yet I kinda just wanted to change out of my tights and shoes because they are WAY to hot. Though we did go into Clarks and they didn't have any shoes in my size. Saw some green lipstick which isn't actually green from Barry M, which is pretty cool. The BBQ is cooking now and it smells yum, such a summery day, shame the half term holiday is nearly over!

Vintage Dresses, Sales, A New Blog and Me...
So, I've started so many blogs before, I look back on how many blogs I've got on Blogger and it's about 6. None of them I ever finish. But this one is different, I will finish it. Because it can only go on till the end of the summer. And if people read it and enjoy it. Then I will post one for winter. This is a blog for my thoughts about the summer of 2011. The festivals, the weather, the fashion, makeup, celebrities. I'm typing it all down. So enjoy it. Because I want to put a lot of effort in. Firstly, vintage dresses, or floral dresses, I love them at the moment, I came back from Spain on Monday (with a lovely tan) and I had bought a lovely floral dress over there. It was 21 euros. And I am going to wear it to London tomorrow. It will go perfectly with my cowboy boots and my Barry M Coral Lipstick, which is my must have lipstick for the summer. Though as soon as I bought it I put the lid of the lipstick down before I had rolled it down, meaning the top got squished. Not good. Still works though and I wore it non stop in Barcelona. As I type I am uploading the pictures to my facebook. Follow me on Twitter @InnocentSwift13 , I usually follow back if you ask.
I am thinking of buying this gypsy dress from New Look, they have AMAZING summer dresses at the moment and its in the sale. www.newlook.com/shop/womens/gypsy-frill-dress_222466672 I couldn't copy and paste that so I had to type it out. I think its a good deal because its in the sale for £10 and it used to be £27.99
Anyway, with all the festivals going on, I couldn't not go to one, and festival fashion is deffo one of my faves. So in July, I'm going to Cornbury festival in Great Tew, where Sophie Ellis Bextor is on, and The Faces and Status Quo or something like that. And then at the end of July, I'm going to California for 3 weeks, which is my dream so I can not wait!
So basically, I've got a whole load of things to blog about, and if you like the look of this, please visit again as I will be posting pics and more!
Lots of Love,
Louise xxx
